Lander Consulting provides a wide range of community development services to the Not For Profit sector. As a boutique consultancy they offer a highly personalised service. Principal, Ken Lander has wide experience in strategic leadership and development, fundraising, grant making, governance and management.

Role

Ken appreciated that he needed an effective website to attract new challenges for his consultancy. He wanted a site that would emphasize his innovative and entrepreneurial spirit whilst also highlighting his professionalism, experience and collaborative approach. I designed his new logo and created a multi-page site for him firmly with this in mind. In addition I resolved his hosting and email requirements to get the site up and running.

PCC Lawyers

PCC Lawyers

PCC Lawyers was set up by experienced lawyers, Helen Carter and Jennifer Sant, who have both worked in top tier law firms and business. As a boutique firm, their personalised service delivery and cost structure makes them an effective option for many organisations requiring workplace legal assistance.

Role

In setting up their new law firm, Helen and Jennifer understood that they needed a website to promote their business. The site requires regular updating with relevant workplace law changes. It also allows prospective clients to see the full range of expertise and services offered and an easy point of contact. As they wanted to focus on growing the practice, I was able to step in to establish the website, co-ordinate web hosting and email access and provide ongoing support to ensure the site is maintained and remains relevant.

LEPS Pand C

Lindfield East Parent's & Citizens'

The LEPS P&C community is very active in the life of the school. From raising funds for educational support resources to running the school band programme, canteen and uniform shop. Many parents are involved in all aspects of the school, working in partnership with the teaching staff and the Principal to achieve the best possible learning environment for their children.

Role

The existing website had an outdated design and always struggled to keep the contents current and up to date. I created a fresh new design for the website and crucially developed a content management system to allow a diverse population of contributors to maintain current information and the latest news on their own section of the website. In addition the website introduced some interactive polls and family fun sections to keep parents and children coming back for more.

kbh Hampers

KBH Gourmet Hampers

KBH select and package gourmet Australian produce to make up Christmas hampers for corporate and individual gift giving. Hamper items are sourced from personally selected local producers across Australia with an emphasis on environmentally friendly production and packaging techniques.

Role

My brief was to design and produce a simple website to showcase the client's product and provide an online contact form. The site was particularly required as a link from the local school's recently introduced online 'Marketplace' for neighbourhood businesses. As part of the design I took original photos of the hampers as well as of each of the individual contents. In addition I provided the words accompanying the photos to summarise the excellence and individuality of each item.

CM celebrant

Christina MacGuinness - Marriage Celebrant

Christina is a registered civil marriage celebrant who was looking to launch her new business. Together with the participants she creates tailor made celebrations for weddings, renewal of vows, naming and commitment ceremonies. She is also a professionally trained funeral celebrant who specialises in funeral, memorial services and scattering of ashes.

Role

Christina understood that her best chance of reaching her target market (young, IT literate couples) was by having a professionally designed website. She wanted a multi page site that would explain in some detail her approach to creating personalised ceremonies. She wanted the site to engender a sense of trust and confidence that arrangements would be professionally met and that ceremonies would proceed just as planned. The finished site included an FAQ page and a photo gallery that also doubles as an endorsement from satisfied customers.

Train your K9

Train your K9

Based in New Zealand, Nick Wilson is a canine behavourist who helps dog owners achieve the sort of relationship with their dog that they always dreamed of. Previously a police dog handler with the New Zealand police force, he has recently written a dog training e.book, 'Train your K9'. The book teaches simple, effective dog training techniques at home.

Role

Nick was dissatisfied with his existing template e.commerce website, mainly because he felt it represented him as a shady pyramid salesman but also because of its poor search engine recognition. Working with his new design, I used a content management system to allow him to update the site easily with dog training articles. I ensured the new site integrated with his contact management system for bulk email and with paypal to allow his book to be bought online. It also integrates feeds from his blog and face book, which he uses extensively to market his e.book.
